We stayed at Bangkok Marriott Sukhumvit on our last day before leaving Thailand. The Hotel is nice. The rooms are not very large, but clean and modern. The Breakfast Buffet was ok. Selection was good, but I’ve had more selection at other hotels. Yet it offered something for every taste.
The roof top bar is absolutely awesome! It’s two floors. The bottom of the two is a bistro/restaurant/bar type of thing. We had great, but pricey sushi there. Sushi was very fresh and very tasty, but priced like in Switzerland, rather than in Thailand 🙂
The top floor is on open air roof top bar with live DJ. The bar is located in the center of the floor and is surrounded by bar tables and some chairs. It gets quite crowded there and there’s a good chance you will need to wait at the bar until you get a chance to sit. But the view and the atmosphere are worth the wait.
