Last december, my uncle from the finish side of the family, Kalervo Kaipio was visiting in Switzerland. We unfortunately only met for a short time at the airport in Zurich, just prior of him flying back to finland.

Nonetheless we spent about an hour updating ourselves about what we do in life. And took the following picture.

In early January, Kalervo died of a hear attack in Helsinki.

I’m glad I seized the opportunity to meet with him and it reconfirms me, that when given the opportunity and gut-feeling, that you can meet someone, one should not postpone it for a matter of lazyness or inconvenience, for it might be, that the opportunity does not re-arise.
