St. Galler Bratwurst – Family History
You know, growing up in St. Gallen, you tend to have a thing about St. Galler-Bratwürste. They sort of represent the hart and soul of St. Gallen. Going through old Family pictures and finding a picture of your grandparents out in Eggersrieter-Wald (a local forrest) grilling a St. Galler Bratwurst on a stick, will instantly put a smile on your face and a glow in your heart.
So I decided to share. If you ever are in Switzerland, don’t leave without tasting a St. Galler-Bratwurst (and don’t try any other)…

Und wieder war St. Gallerfest…
Das dumme an diesen ganz ganz lustigen Festen ist jeweils nur, dass man am nächsten morgen gar nicht mehr weiss, was man so alles erlebt hat… weshalb sich auch der entsprechende Blogeintrag dann halt entsprechend kürzt.
Ich nenne dies “das Paradox der Lustigsten Abende”: Je lustiger der Abend war, desto grösser die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass man sich nicht mehr an ihn errinnert…
S'isch OLMA, OLMA, OLMA Ziit!
Und wieder ist es soweit. Die OLMA ruft.
Wer zur OLMA fährt und nicht mindestens folgende Zwischenstopps eingelegt hat,
hat die OLMA nicht wirklich besucht:
- Bouillon-Suppe am Oswald-Stand (ACHTUNG: sehr heiss!)
- Pizza-Käseschnitte am Appenzeller-Stand in Halle 5
- Fondue-Brot
- Klosterbräu oder Landbier am Schüga-Stand
- Lantwing Bar
- OLMA-Bratwurst am Schmied oder Gemperli Stand
Und dann ab auf die Bahnen!
