It’s all fun and games, until someone looses an eye…

A good friend of mine recently sent me this candid camera video of a snake exhibition quoting: “one could try this out once at your place” refering to my own (non-venomous) snakes.

There’s an old saying: It’s all fun and games, until someone looses an eye. I stumbled over this short movie on YouTube, showing why you should NEVER play on the potential fear of people EVER.

WARNING: This video is not for the light hearted, but it will leave you with a very distinct learning for life.

my Snakes.

I have been having snake pets ever since I can remember. Some of them, have even become publicly famous… ;-) This was many years ago, when I still lived in St. Gallen. But for your comfort, no plant survives more than 3 years around me, but my snakes have been with me for over 12 years.

Ohh, how sweet ….

Mice as a matter of fact aren’t sweet. They taste more like rotten sushi with a fragrance of urin and a lot of fur, so I guess you couldn’t really call snakes big gourmets either… but none the less, they seem to love them sweet little mice.

I have 3 pet king snakes. 2 Lampropeltis triangulum cambelli (Cabelli kingsnake) named Romeo & Juliette and 1 Lampropeltis triangulum greeri (Grey banded king snake) named Casper (jup, like the friendly ghost, ’cause casper is the friendliest of all snakes…
